Once you achieve the 5% profit target, you can immediately start the upgrade to your “experienced trader” commission-eligible paper trading account — possibly in just 1 trading day. The evaluation phase is flexible, adapting to your unique trading strategy.

  • How Is the Profit Target Calculated?

In the 1-Step evaluation, the profit target is set at 5% of the starting account balance. For instance, if your starting balance is $100,000, your goal is to achieve a $5,000 profit. There is no profit target once you reach the experienced trader stage.

  • What Happens After I Pass the Challenge?

Congratulations on reaching this milestone! To proceed, ensure all positions are closed and verify that you've gained at least 5% while meeting all challenge parameters. Your account will then be marked as “Complete.”

Next, our system will automatically transition you to the experienced trader stage, labeled as “Pending.” At this stage, submit your KYC information and the funded trader agreement through your dashboard.

Once submitted, your experienced trader account will be activated within 1 full business day. This paper trading account will then be eligible for commission payouts.

  • How Are Payouts Handled?

Payouts are available through Bank Wire or Cryptocurrency.

When traders qualify for commission payouts, they can choose to receive their payments via USDT-TRC20, USDT-ERC20, BTC, or Bank Wire.

Payout requests are reviewed and processed within 1-2 full business days, though our team strives to complete them as quickly as possible.

    Withdrawal Fees:

    • Cryptocurrency: 0.5% of the transaction value
    • Bank Wire: $10 flat fee per transaction
  • Do You Allow High-Frequency Trading (HFT)?

Currently, there are no restrictions on trading styles during the evaluation stage. If your strategy works on our servers, you are free to use it. For information on restricted strategies during the experienced trader stage, please refer to the section “Which Trading Styles Do We Accept on This Program?” above.

  • What Trading Styles Are Accepted in This Program?

Whether you trade using Support/Resistance, Candlestick Patterns, Trading Bots, Supply/Demand, or Smart Money Concepts, you're free to use any of these strategies on our simulated accounts. We understand top traders utilize various techniques, and we support that.

During the evaluation stage, there are no restrictions. However, the following strategies are prohibited during the experienced trader stage and will be reviewed:

    • Grid Trading or Software
    • Martingale Trading or Tools
    • Latency Arbitrage
    • Hedging Orders Across Multiple Accounts
    • Exploiting News Volatility with Guaranteed Limit Fills
    • Using Delayed Data Feeds for Risk-Free Profits
    • Copy Trading Among Users
    • Third-Party Account Management

These methods are restricted in the funded stage as they rely on demo conditions or exploit the system, making them unviable in live markets.

  • What Is the Maximum Capital Available?

In the experienced trader stage, the maximum commission-eligible buying power available to a trader is $2 million. Our largest evaluation allows up to $2M in capital. While traders can take multiple evaluations, the combined total across all active funded accounts cannot exceed $2 million.

  • When Will I Receive the Challenge Account Credentials?

You’ll receive your challenge account credentials via email shortly after signing up for the evaluation. If the email isn’t in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If you haven’t received your credentials within 60 minutes or they aren’t showing on your dashboard, please reach out to our live chat support for help.

  • Can I Trade Crypto During the Weekend in the Funded Account?

Currently, simulated crypto trading over the weekend is not available.

  • What Is the Refund Policy?

Once your payment for the evaluation plan is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with your login details to access the evaluation. After this, the sale is final, and refunds are not available due to the program’s immediate nature. For our 1-Step Challenge, traders are rewarded based on their simulated performance during the experienced trader stage, and no refunds are issued once evaluations are completed.

  • How Is Drawdown Calculated?

The 4% Max Daily Drawdown is based on your initial account balance at the reset time, before any trades are executed. This resets daily at 00:00 Market Watch Time (5:00 PM EST).

In addition, drawdown is calculated relative to the highest balance achieved during the day. You must ensure that you do not fall more than 4% below either the initial balance at reset time or the highest balance of the day.

    Counting Formula:

Highest balance or equity of the day (whichever is higher) – current balance.

The 10% Maximum Total Drawdown is a trailing metric based on your account balance and highest equity achieved. For example, if you start with a $100,000 account, your maximum loss level is $90,000. If your account balance or equity reaches $108,000, your trailing drawdown will be adjusted to $98,000. This trailing drawdown will always be set at 10% below the highest balance or equity.

It is crucial to manage risk according to these rules when trading our funded accounts. Violating these drawdown rules will result in the loss of your funded account.

You will have access to your maximum daily and total drawdown levels on your dashboard at all times. Monitor both your balance and equity to ensure they do not exceed the 4% daily drawdown or 10% total drawdown limits.

  • When Can I Request My Payouts?

You can request your first payout from your funded account 14 days after making your initial trade.

After that, payouts can be requested every one week.

All payouts are based on performance commissions earned in the simulated market environment.

  • Is It Required to Use a Stop-Loss (SL) While Trading?

We do not require the use of a stop-loss (SL) in any of our programs. While we encourage the use of stop-losses to manage risk effectively, particularly when trading with virtual funds, there is no rule mandating their use.

  • Can I Use a Trade Copier?

Yes, you can use a trade copier to replicate your personal trades onto your simulated live account with Vertex Forex Funds. You can set your Vertex account as the master or copy trades from your other accounts.

However, it’s important to avoid placing identical orders simultaneously with other traders on our platform. This includes staying clear of common trading bots, account management services, or third-party signals that could result in duplicate trades. Any instance of consecutive matching trades from multiple users will be considered a violation. This rule applies exclusively to the funded stage.

While automated trading and bots are allowed, we recommend using a unique set file or ensuring that no other traders are using the same bot on our servers to avoid issues with order matching.

Vertex Forex Funds will issue a warning for the first violation, along with a profit deduction for copied trades. A second violation will result in a formal notice. It's essential that your simulated trade data remains unique.

  • Is There a Payout Limit?

No, there are no payout limits.

  • Can I Trade While Awaiting a Payout?

Once you request a performance commission payout, trading in your account must be paused. You are not allowed to place any trades until the payout process is complete.

  • Is There an Age Requirement to Join the Program?

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Vertex Forex Funds.

  • Can I Hold Trades Over the Weekend on Funded Account?

Yes, you can hold trades over the weekend.

  • If I Need Assistance, What Should I Do?

For any issues or assistance during your funding journey, you can contact our live support through our website or email us at [email protected]

  • Are There Any Restrictions on Certain Countries?

We cannot accept traders from Cuba or North Korea. Traders from all other countries are welcome to join.

  • What Payment Methods Are Accepted for Purchasing an Evaluation?

You can purchase an evaluation using cryptocurrency and credit/debit card.

  • Is Funded Account Management Allowed?

No, funded account management by a third party is not permitted. Any simulated trading account associated with your name must be managed solely by the account owner registered with our platform. Using external services or allowing a third party to trade on your behalf will result in a breach of your account.

  • How Long Can We Use High-Frequency Trading (HFT)?

High-frequency trading (HFT) is allowed only during the evaluation phase. It is not permitted during the funded account stage, and using HFT in a funded account will result in a breach of your account.

  • Can I get a reset with the HFT Challenge?

No, we do not offer Reset with HFT Challenge.

  • Is there a consistency rule with HFT Challenge?

Yes, there is a consistency rule in the HFT Challenge. However, breaching this rule does not disqualify you from receiving a payout. Any inconsistent amounts will simply be removed, and the remaining balance will be paid out after the profit split.

Lot Size Consistency Rule: To determine your trading range, calculate the average lot size of all your trades. The maximum allowed lot size is twice your average lot size, while the minimum allowed lot size is one-quarter of your average lot size.

Please note that taking multiple positions in the same direction to circumvent the consistency rule will result in these trades being combined into one for both profit and lot size consistency. The consistency rule will be evaluated only at the time of payout.

  • Do you have a profit cap rule?

No, we do not impose a profit cap rule. This means that you can fully benefit from your trading success without any limitations on the amount you can earn. We believe in providing our traders with the flexibility to maximize their potential profits based on their trading strategies and skills. You can focus on achieving your financial goals without the concern of hitting a profit ceiling.

  • How does the Lot Size consistency work?

    Lot Size Consistency Rule

The Lot Size Consistency Rule applies once you submit a payout request to ensure your trade sizes remain consistent throughout your trading.

    How It Works:

    1. Average Trade Size:
Your average trade size determines your acceptable trading range.
    2. Maximum Trade Size:
    • Add 100% to your average trade size.
    • Example: If your average trade size is 1 lot, the maximum allowed size will be 2 lots (1 + 100%).
    1. Minimum Trade Size:
    • Subtract 75% from your average trade size.
    • Example: If your average trade size is 1 lot, the minimum allowed size will be 0.25 lots (1 - 75%).

Any trade outside this range will result in a soft breach. However, as with the Profit Consistency Rule, these invalid trades will be removed, and you will still retain access to your account.

    Important Notes:

    • Trade History:
The Lot Size Consistency Rule applies across your entire trade history and does not reset after each payout. It remains in effect for all payout periods.
    • Trade Idea Definition:
Multiple positions in the same direction on the same pair within 1 minute will be combined into a single "Trade Idea."
      • Example:
If you open three long EUR/USD positions of 2 lots each, and each earns $500, the Trade Idea will be counted as:
        • Total Lots: 6 lots (3 x 2 lots)
        • Total Profit: $1,500 (3 x $500)

If this combined Trade Idea exceeds the Lot Size or Profit Consistency Rules, it will result in a soft breach

  • What is the max withdrawal?

There is no maximum limit on withdrawals, which means you can withdraw all of your profits, taking into account the applicable profit split percentage.

  • Prohibited Strategies Explained

Before using a trading bot or automated trading tool during the experienced trader stage, ensure that the tool or trading style does not fall into any of the prohibited categories listed below. We recommend consulting with the developer of the tool you plan to use to confirm compliance with our guidelines.

Grid Trading or Grid Trading Tools: Grid trading involves placing orders above and below a set price to create a grid of orders that adjust incrementally with the chart price. While having two trades open at a time isn’t grid trading, having three or more positions open simultaneously, with each order following the previous one into drawdown, qualifies as grid trading. Key indicators of grid trading include:

    • Setting a starting price for the grid.
    • Choosing an interval (e.g., 10 pips, 50 pips, 100 pips).
    • Deciding whether the grid is aligned with or against the trend.

Martingale: The Martingale strategy involves increasing the lot size of trades to recover from losses, often by doubling the lot size of losing trades while reducing the lot size of winning trades. This method results in substantially higher lot sizes as the price moves against the direction of the trades.

Guaranteed Limit Orders: Placing limit orders with stop-loss (SL) and take-profit (TP) around high-impact news events or periods of high volume with large lot sizes. This approach relies on order fills, which can be affected by slippage and market conditions. For example, placing a buy stop above the price and a sell stop below the price before a major news event would be classified as using guaranteed limit orders.

    Reason for Prohibition:
We prohibit Martingale and grid trading strategies due to the unrestricted nature of our evaluation, which allows high-frequency trading (HFT) and offers high passing rates. Unlike other funding programs that may impose more restrictive trading conditions, our program provides guaranteed access through HFT. As such, we do not permit these strategies to maintain fair trading conditions.

    Third-Party Tools:
Using third-party services to install, connect, or manage trading tools or bots on your account is not allowed. You may trade your own bot and manage it from your own device.

By purchasing an evaluation, you agree to adhere to these guidelines and refrain from using the prohibited strategies during the experienced trader stage.

    Multiple Trade Opening Rule

Traders are prohibited from opening multiple trades within 5 minutes of each other. To maintain fair trading conditions and avoid high-frequency trading (HFT) behavior, at least 5 minutes must elapse between the opening of any two trades.

Opening multiple trades within this time frame will result in an automatic breach of your account, as this behavior is considered inconsistent with the program’s guidelines for proper risk management and trading discipline.
